Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to serve as the primary operator of our transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) equipment. You will work with the psychiatrist and clinical team to prepare patients, operate TMS per guidelines, monitor sessions, and document treatments with care.

The ideal candidate has medical office experience, CMA/RMA/CCMA certification, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent certification accepted.
• Experience in a medical office or outpatient setting preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for TMS treatment and explain the process.
• Operate the TMS device under supervision of clinician.
• Follow safety procedures and clinic protocols for each session.
• Assist with patient positioning and setup of equipment.
• Monitor patient comfort and report any adverse symptoms promptly.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Ensure sterile, clean treatment areas and equipment.
