Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations at our Ohio facility. You will manage warehousing, receiving, and shipping activities under the Operations Manager, ensuring accurate paperwork and compliance with ISO standards.

The role requires 2-4 years in warehouse/logistics, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment while communicating effectively with all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in warehouse/logistics environment
• Knowledge of ISO standards affecting the role
• Compliance with SOPs and safety rules including OSHA/MSDS

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily warehouse operations
• Coordinate warehousing, receiving and shipping under Operations Manager guidance
• Coordinate unloading inbound shipments and staging outbound orders
• Verify inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers and tally quantities
• Research shipping/discrepancy issues and communicate findings
• Communicate with customers by phone, email, or in person
• Prepare accurate activity reports for site management
• Ensure products/orders are received, shipped and picked correctly
• Verify products meet quality standards; report damages or discrepancies
• Stack, package, shrink wrap and label products
• Follow defined Standard Operating Procedures
• Report inconsistencies to the Operations Manager
• Comply with ISO, safety rules and OSHA/MSDS standards

• Coordinate unloading inbound shipments, orderly stacking of products, and picking and staging outbound shipments
• Verify inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers and ensure products are properly counted
• Research shipping and receiving discrepancies
• Communicate with customers by telephone, electronically, or in person
• Prepare accurate and efficient activity reports for site management
• Use appropriate documentation to ensure products and orders are received, shipped, and picked correctly
• Verify products and orders meet quality standards and report damages or discrepancies
• Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products
• Follow defined Standard Operating Procedures
• Report inconsistencies and problems to the Operations Manager
• Comply with relevant ISO standards, company policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS Standards

Requirements

• 2-4 years’ experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment (preferred qualification)
• Knowledge of relevant ISO standards impacting the position, department, and company
• Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS Standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with all levels of the organization
• Ability to adapt effectively to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment
