Job summary

GXO is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee several critical areas of supply chain operations, ensuring customer commitments are met and quality standards are maintained.

You will lead supervisors, hire and develop staff, implement Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement programs, and enforce OSHA safety across the Oklahoma facility. This role requires a hands-on leader who coordinates with customers, vendors, and team members to sustain high performance.

Job description

• Oversee several important areas of supply chain operations
• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met
• Demonstrate understanding of GXO’s quality policies and establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives
• Provide guidance to supervisors regarding personnel, quality and safety
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff
• Recommend programs to improve operations
• Handle equipment and coordinate maintenance needs with the maintenance team
• Ensure records are maintained appropriately and reports are completed in a timely manner
• Adhere to and enforce safe work practices and ensure warehouse compliance with OSHA and other standards and regulations

Requirements

• 4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Experience with computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field (preferred)
• 4 years of managerial/supervisory experience (preferred)
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment (preferred)
• Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience (preferred)
• Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) (preferred)
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures across all departments (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills (preferred)
