Job summary

SGS Consulting in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Transportation/Logistics Analyst to review carrier invoices, monitor shipments, and support carrier coordination. You will collaborate with the Logistics Team to resolve issues from pickup to delivery, ensure TMS data integrity, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have freight audit, TMS data management, MS Office proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in freight audit and carrier coordination is expected.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Review suspended carrier invoices and approve payments.
• Audit detention and accessorial charge requests with authorization keys.
• Track and trace shipments and report on KPIs in the TMS.
• Maintain TMS data integrity and perform template updates and rate management.
• Provide carrier scorecard updates and communicate fuel surcharge changes weekly.
• Coordinate with Clients plants and carrier partners to resolve issues and improve service.
