Job summary

Medline Industries, LP seeks a Business Systems Analyst with strong TMS experience to translate logistics, warehouse, carrier, parcel, and ERP needs into clear requirements and production-ready solutions across multiple transportation platforms.

The role collaborates with the TMS team, developers, Operations, logistics teams, and business stakeholders to analyze workflows, document specifications, and support continuous improvements in transportation management capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications and cross-functional tech initiatives.
• Experience supporting logistics, TMS, warehouse, distribution, carrier, parcel, or supply chain tech solutions.
• Strong system analysis skills: requirements, data/process flows, root-cause analysis and testing.
• Ability to read SQL, analyze data, troubleshoot interfaces/logs, and communicate findings clearly.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze TMS workflows across shipment planning, rating, carrier selection, tendering, tracking, visibility, and reporting.
• Translate business needs into requirements, specs, data mappings, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Investigate production issues by analyzing system behavior, data, SQL queries, logs, and interfaces.
• Partner with developers, Operations, logistics teams, vendors, and stakeholders through discovery, design, build, testing, and deployment.
• Support release readiness, UAT, documentation, communication, and continuous improvement for TMS capabilities.
