Job summary

Sims Global Solutions LLC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to quote, schedule, and coordinate shipments using our TMS system. You will monitor client updates, vet carriers, and build strong relationships with clients and partners.

The role requires 1–3 years in Transportation, 3PL, or Freight forwarding, with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Strong communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and negotiation abilities.
• Proven track record in building relationships with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Quoting, scheduling, and coordinating shipments through our TMS system.
• Updating client status reports on a load-by-load basis via email, fax, and voicemail.
• Vetting and setting up new carrier vendors.
• Cultivating relationships with clients, carriers, and team members.
• Collaborating with sales on client shipping updates and issues.
• Facilitating returns, discrepancies, over/short, and damages.
• Managing and processing customer and market data.
• Ensuring carriers meet appointment times.
• Crafting solutions for customers from reporting and data.
