LifeStance Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct patient care for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) services in Vernon Hills, IL. The role includes clinical tasks under physician direction, patient interactions, and light office duties.

The position starts at $22.75 per hour with potential quarterly bonuses and requires certification visibility, healthcare experience, BLS/CPR credentials, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Two or more years of related experience within a healthcare setting.
• BLS and CPR certified.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to some data management software.
• Experience with operating a medical/mechanical device.
• Strong communication skills and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to discuss Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) procedures, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Handle TMS-related calls from patients, providing comprehensive information and assistance.
• Utilize standard protocols to assess eligibility of new patients for TMS and schedule initial consultations.
• Contact patients and answer incoming calls to schedule appointments.
• Address inquiries related to payment and facilitate payment collections.
• Engage with patients to discuss and resolve outstanding balances, facilitating prompt payments.
