Job summary

LifeStance Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician in Vernon Hills, IL to provide direct care for patients undergoing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). You will work under a physician, administering and managing clinical services, while interacting with patients and assisting with office tasks.

The role starts at $22.75 per hour with quarterly incentive potential. Travel within the region may be required to support TMS services across sites.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Two or more years of related experience within a healthcare setting.
• BLS and CPR certified.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to data management software.
• Experience with operating a medical/mechanical device.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to discuss TMS procedures, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Handle TMS-related calls from patients, providing information and assistance.
• Assess eligibility of new patients for TMS and schedule initial consultations with the TMS provider.
• Contact patients and answer calls to schedule appointments.
• Address inquiries related to payment and facilitate collections.
• Coordinate care with internal and external clinicians.
• Maintain a well-organised clinic prep and workflow; ensure patient comfort during treatment.
