Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers is seeking an Early Learning / TK Program Leader (Jr. Rangers Club Leader) for Crenshaw / Baldwin Hills, CA. This part-time role runs 1:00 PM – 5:00/6:00 PM, with 20-25 hours per week and shifts that vary by location.

Reporting to the Site Coordinator, you will foster a positive learning environment and guide clubs of about 20 children. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (GED acceptable) and 6 months of supervising young children or 6 relevant college units.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience supervising young children is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with children and youth.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe and supportive environment for students.
• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Monitor attendance and participation.
• Build positive relationships with students and families.
• Collaborate with staff to plan events and celebrations.
• Request program materials timely and adhere to budget.
• Comply with safety procedures and trainings.
• Participate in off-site field trips as needed.
• Maintain attendance records daily and attend training.
