Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers is seeking an Early Learning / TK Program Leader to guide Jr. Rangers Club with about 20 children.

You will foster a fun, safe, and inclusive after-school learning environment, leading age-appropriate activities and supporting growth in social-emotional skills. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months of group supervision experience, and is available 1:00 PM–6:00 PM, Monday through Friday in Hawthorne, CA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 6 months experience supervising a group of young children in a school or recreation setting.
• Ability to work effectively with children and youth.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe and supportive environment for students.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities supporting whole-child development.
• Monitor attendance and engagement, and maintain records daily.
• Collaborate with staff to plan events and celebrate participant achievements.
• Attend required trainings and meet safety/certification requirements.
