Job summary

Metrohm USA is seeking a Titration Sales Representative to lead and grow our Northern Illinois and Iowa territory, ideally based in the Greater Chicago area. You will manage the full sales cycle, build strong customer relationships across pharma, chemicals, polymers, and food sectors, and travel as needed.

With a bachelor’s in chemistry and 3+ years in technical sales, you’ll leverage titration expertise and structured selling approaches to exceed targets, delivering compelling demonstrations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably to analytical laboratories.
• Hands-on knowledge or sales experience with titration equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman) is a plus.
• Industry knowledge in pharma, chemicals, polymers, cosmetics, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage your own sales territory focused on titration solutions.
• Drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—to exceed growth targets.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships in sectors such as pharma, chemicals, polymers, petrochemicals, personal care and food/beverage.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Deliver compelling presentations and product demos to both technical and executive audiences.
• Identify ways to streamline the sales process and maximize revenue.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent growth.
