Job summary

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent plus clerical experience.
• Must complete a nationwide criminal background check to include fingerprints prior to being certified to administer CDL knowledge skill tests.

Responsibilities

• Examines, accepts, prepares, enters and prints documents for issuing drivers' licenses, permits and IDs and vehicle registrations.
• Manages licensing needs for banks, lienholders, insurance companies and dealerships.
• Processes motor vehicle registration requests and researches suspension inquiries.
• Administers knowledge tests to drivers requesting various license classes.
• Verifies eye tests and fraud reviews to determine license restrictions and policy compliance.
• Answers customer inquiries about driver, vehicle, registration and insurance requirements.
• Maintains transaction payments and records; assists with daily reports and refunds.
