Job summary

ORNL Federal Credit Union is seeking a Title Specialist to register vehicles and ensure timely lien perfection. You will research and obtain missing titles and required documents, maintaining portfolio integrity and supporting branches, team members, and members with title inquiries.

Responsibilities include processing title documentation, registering vehicles, and tracking liens while ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in vehicle title and lien processing, or consumer lending within a financial institution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace; ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Track, research, and obtain missing titles and documents to ensure timely lien perfection; contact members and loan officers to obtain needed documents.
• Process title documentation and register vehicles with county clerks to secure lien position; obtain and track temporary liens as needed.
• Assist members and coworkers with title inquiries, providing accurate information and timely resolutions.
• Sort, organize, and distribute incoming mail to ensure timely handling of title and loan documents.
• Assist with correction adjustments by researching discrepancies and updating records for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
