Job summary

HomeServices of America is seeking a Settlement Processor in Forest, VA to handle pre-closing coordination with lenders, prepare closing statements, issue title policies, and manage document recording and disbursements. The role requires title experience and strong organizational skills.

The position includes responsibilities for reviewing titles, preparing disclosures, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment, with occasional travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree or experience equivalent.
• Experience: 2+ years of title specific or similar experience.
• Notary Public certification or license within 90 days; Title Producer’s license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Intermediate level Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and clear title.
• Identify underwriting concerns.
• Prepare the Closing Disclosure when applicable.
• Order bring downs and tax certifications.
• Obtain conveyancing.
• Prepare daily deposits.
• Process incoming and outgoing recordings and letters of indemnity.
• Other duties as required
