Job summary

Newrez seeks a Default Title Specialist to manage the order and fulfillment of title products. You will coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver title search packages on time with strong quality control.

The role requires attention to detail, communication skills, and experience in title or financial services. On-site office work is expected with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of title, mortgage, curative, or financial services experience required.
• 1+ years of Curative, REO, Foreclosure, or Purchase Title experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review title search products for quality, completeness, and accuracy, including vesting, liens, encumbrances, legal descriptions, taxes.
• Investigate, research, and resolve issues identified within title search packages prior to client delivery.
• Work with outsource partners to prepare and quality control title search packages for customer delivery.
• Make revisions and updates to title search packages upon client request.
• Facilitate ordering and tracking of default title products to ensure timely turnaround.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to meet established service level standards.
• Submit invoices for services rendered in accordance with client requirements.
• Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
