Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Default Title Curative Specialist to review title defects and determine curative actions for default, foreclosure, REO, and related mortgage servicing matters. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, creditors, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution while meeting service levels.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in title/curative roles, familiarity with BKFS LoanSphere LPS, and strong attention to detail. This on-site role offers growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years in title, curative, default mortgage servicing, or financial services preferred.
• 2+ years of Curative, REO, or Foreclosure experience preferred.
• Familiarity with BKFS LoanSphere FC/BK (LPS) platform preferred.

Responsibilities

• Intake and evaluate title curative referrals for accuracy, completeness, and validity.
• Examine title searches for vesting, liens, encumbrances, legal descriptions, judgments, and other title defects.
• Review all available documentation to determine the most efficient resolution strategy per guidelines.
• Coordinate curative matters including filing title insurance claims and tracking progress.
• Engage creditors and lienholders to obtain lien releases and satisfactions.
