Rider University invites applications for University Investigators. The role conducts thorough, reliable, and impartial investigations of harassment and discrimination complaints, supporting a workplace and educational environment free from discrimination and retaliation.

This hybrid position is largely remote with some in-person responsibilities and is paid per diem. Pay rates are $50 per hour for investigations and $30 per hour for other duties or training.

Qualifikationen

• At least two years of professional experience conducting formal complaint investigations.
• Formal training related to Title IX, Title VI, student / employee conduct or human resources investigations.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and apply policy standards to specific situations.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive situations with diplomacy, impartiality, and excellent judgment.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, organizational, interviewing, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated strong ability to communicate orally and in written communications, including the ability to convey relevant information in clearly written, detailed reports.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive and/or stressful situations in a professional, confidential, and trauma-informed manner.
• Computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Office, Google applications and student conduct databases is essential.

Aufgaben

• Investigate harassment and discrimination complaints pursuant to Rider’s policies.
• Provide timely resolution of formal complaints and assist with related assignments as required.
