Job summary

University of Scranton in Scranton, PA is seeking a Title IX & Civil Rights Investigator (Part Time) to conduct prompt, thorough investigations involving students, faculty, and staff. The role is 18 hours per week as an adjunct/part-time position within the Office of Institutional Compliance & Title IX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a closely related field.
• Minimum of two years of investigations experience, preferably in civil rights/Title IX in higher education.
• Strong analytical, writing, and interviewing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct prompt, thorough, impartial investigations into discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
• Develop investigative plans, interview parties and witnesses, gather evidence.
• Draft objective investigative reports with timelines and evidence summaries.
• Maintain confidential case files and provide updates to Title IX Coordinator.
• Collaborate on training, prevention, and awareness initiatives.
