Job summary

The University of Iowa invites applications for an Equity Investigator, OCRC-Title IX, 50% time (20 hours per week). The investigator will collaborate with internal and external reviewers, help develop policy recommendations, and assist in training materials.

Qualifications

• A Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. university.
• Six months of working experience in civil rights law.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and adjudicate complaints of sexual harassment, sexual misconduct and sex-based discrimination under university policies.
• Serve as a member of the Title IX Grievance Pool as investigator and may serve as an adjudicator or hearing advisor.
• Collaborate with internal and external reviewers to respond to requests and monitor external agencies.
