Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing the intake of reported TitleIX-related complaints by providing initial outreach and response.This position is responsible for data collection, input, andanalysis of files in the Maxient case management system and worksin concert with Title IX leadership, internal and externalstakeholders to provide supportive measures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Performance Requirements*
- Provides confidential initial assessments to students andemployees regarding alleged Title IX violations, including but notlimited to sexual violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment,dating and domestic violence, stalking, pregnancy and parenting,sex, and gender-based harassment and discrimination
- Conducts trauma-informed intake interviews with reporting partiesto assess immediate safety and well-being, gather facts, andprovide applicable Title IX required information.
- Provides applicable supportive measures
- Manages the life cycle of a complaint/incident report from intaketo completion, ensuring all case activity is accurately documentedand remains current in the institution’s case managementsystem
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships withinternal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, i.e.,Director of Student Conduct and Prevention Education, CARE AdvocacyTeam, Law Enforcement, Early College leaders, and other criticalstakeholders in providing and facilitating supportive services toparties
- Ensures the application of applicable regulations, i.e., VAWA,Clery Act, and Title IX
- Organizes assigned work in a manner that supports the accurateand timely completion, tracking, and reporting of complaints
Service Excellence
- Provides excellent customer service and outreach to students andemployees regarding assigned program while cultivating strongrapport with students, employees, internal and externalstakeholders
- Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, andfollows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of theworksite
- Completes all required training and professional developmentsessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
- Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of theCollege
SupervisionWorks under the general supervision of the assigned departmentleader

Required Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and one (1) years’ working experience relatedto the Essential Performance Requirements; or any equivalentcombination of education and work-related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Education, Human Resources, Educational Psychology,Criminal Justice, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- At least one (1) year’s working experience in a higher educationsetting related to the Essential Performance Requirements
- At least one (1) year’s working experience in Title IX, studentaffairs, victim advocacy, case management, or a related field
- Title IX Coordinator or investigator certification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of Title IX and the Violence Against Women Act(VAWA)
- Knowledge of sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual violence,domestic violence, dating violence, intimate partner violence,stalking, and sex and gender-based harassment preventionstrategies
- Knowledge of VAWA, Title IX, and other federal and state lawsrelated to dating and domestic violence, and stalking
- Knowledge and competence on consent and bystanderintervention
- Skilled in delivering high-quality customer service and buildingeffective interpersonal relationships, including strong listening,verbal, and written communication skills to effectively communicatecomplex issues
- Ability to exercise tact, mature judgment, confidentiality,diplomacy, and flexibility in interacting with all levels offaculty, students, staff and management, guests, vendors, and thepublic using discretion on all interactions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, stateand federal laws, and regulations
- Ability to recognize issues of sensitive nature and respectconfidentiality
- Ability to make judgments based on information versusassumptions
- Ability to respond well and maintain a balance of objectivity andempathy for individuals experiencing stressful and crisissituations
- Ability to demonstrate case management skills using MicrosoftExcel, Word, Outlook, and other programs such as Maxient, toorganize work
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple interruptions andmeet deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-service orientedcollaborative team environment
- Ability to travel to different campus locations for problemresolution, meetings, training, and related activities
