Job summary

Tarrant County College District (TCCD) is seeking a Coordinator, Arts and Humanities at the Northeast Campus to support daily academic affairs operations, monitor program budgets, and lead outreach across the college and community. The role requires collaboration across divisions and campuses, with occasional flexible hours.

A Master’s degree and relevant experience are required, and remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree and three (3) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements, or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • At least one (1) year’s working experience in a higher education environment
  • At least one (1) year’s working experience collaborating with industry partners in developing internship, work-based learning opportunities, and apprenticeships
  • Knowledge of academic program operations, including credit and non-credit offerings, and institutional policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Skilled in delivering high-quality customer service and building effective interpersonal relationships, with strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Skilled in using computer applications and enterprise systems, including Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), to support reporting, presentations, and program operations
  • Ability to analyze information, think critically, and resolve complex problems in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects, ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely completion
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, leadership, and external partners to support programs, outreach, and institutional initiatives
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and data to support decision-making, program development, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to prepare reports, presentations, and communications, while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality with sensitive information

Pay Frequency: Monthly

Compensation Details: Starting Pay - 70,400; Commensurate with education and experience

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Flexibility is required, as occasional evening and weekend hours may be necessary based on divisional needs.

Remote Eligible: This position is not eligible for remote work

Job Summary

This role is responsible for supporting daily operations of their department, programs, or major process focused on academic affairs, potentially including credit and non-credit instructional responsibilities. This position is expected to monitor program budgets and to lead institutional and community outreach. This position is expected to have a high level of department and programs specific knowledge The position requires collaboration across multiple divisions, campuses, and levels of the institution.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Service Excellence
  • Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements
  • Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
  • Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
  • Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Supervision

Works under the supervision of the assigned campus leader
