Job summary

Qualifications

• Evidence of successful experience in student and parent relations.
• Proven proficiency in instructional support, via tutoring or teaching.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to classroom routines.
• Flexibility to work with diverse student needs and schedules.
• Knowledge of reading, writing, and mathematics instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interventions to students based on plans from Title I or General Education teachers, including small group and individualized instruction.
• Report outcomes to teachers with daily student progress notes.
• Administer assessments and screeners to support teacher decisions on eligibility, interventions, progress monitoring, or exiting students.
• Attend parent/teacher conferences as needed to discuss student performance or behavior.
• Maintain student files and ensure confidentiality of records in line with guidelines.
• Maintain activity logs and time documentation as required by regulations.
• Coordinate with Title I and General Education teachers on student progress and concerns.
• Uphold behavior expectations and help maintain a safe classroom environment.
• Support other duties as assigned.
