Job summary

The Leona Group is seeking paraprofessional staff in Pontiac, MI to provide supplemental instructional support to eligible students. You will implement interventions, track progress, and communicate with teachers to ensure effective student outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a background in reading, writing, and mathematics instruction, with prior tutoring or instructional support experience and a willingness to learn and adapt to a Title I program. There are three open positions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics instruction.
• Experience in tutoring or instructional support preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to instructional plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interventions to students based on plans from Title I/General Education teachers.
• Provide progress reports on student outcomes to teachers.
• Administer assessments and screeners for eligibility and progress-monitoring.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and documentation.
