Job summary

Parchment School District is seeking Title Aides to provide academic support in reading and mathematics for identified at-risk students during the Intervention/Enrichment period. The role runs as substitute coverage from August 2026 through December 2026, with about 7 hours per day, under the direction of teachers or instructional coaches.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 60 college hours or an associate degree or equivalent state assessment.
• Knowledge of reading, writing, and mathematics instruction.
• Experience with children in educational settings is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Patience, empathy and a desire to help students succeed.
• Basic proficiency with technology and educational software.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering reading and/or mathematics instruction.
• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring.
• Help prepare instructional materials for classroom activities.
• Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Assist in creating a welcoming and supportive classroom environment.
• Support students in developing social skills and positive behavior.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to meet diverse student needs.
