The Leona Group in Detroit, MI is seeking a paraprofessional to provide supplemental instructional support to eligible students under supervision of Title I and General Education teachers. You will deliver interventions, assist in assessing students, report outcomes, attend parent/teacher conferences as needed, and maintain student records in a confidential manner.

Qualificações

• Two years of college (60 semester hours) or an associate's degree (or higher).
• Knowledge of reading, writing, and mathematics instruction.
• Ability to communicate with teachers and families about student progress.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver interventions based on instructional plans created by Title I/General Education Teachers.
• Report outcomes with daily student outcome reports.
• Administer assessments and screeners to inform eligibility and interventions.
• Attend parent/teacher conferences as needed to support teacher communication with parents.
• Maintain student files and confidentiality of student records.
• Maintain activity logs and time/effort documentation.
• Communicate progress and concerns with Title I and General Education Teachers.
• Participate in teams like RTI, data, PBS, or school improvement teams.
• Assist in enforcing behavior expectations and a safe classroom environment.
