Job summary

Toyota Scion of Torrance, powered by Lithia & Driveway, is seeking an Accounting Processing Centers professional to handle vehicle title and registration paperwork in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The role supports accuracy and compliance with government agencies, offers a $25–$27 per hour pay range, and includes comprehensive benefits; in-person, Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm, in Torrance, CA.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of dealership title/registration processing experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound vehicle title and registration documents with government agencies.
• Research and resolve vehicles without a title aged over 15 days.
• Process outbound contract paperwork and submit to agencies.
• Process sold vehicles without a title aged over 30 days.
• Communicate with customers via chat, phone, and CRM/email.
• Collaborate with LAD personnel to correct issues.
• Meet accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency standards.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Target Hiring Range:

At Lithia & Driveway, we believe in pay transparency. The full compensation range for this position is $25.00/hr - $27.00/hr reflecting the earning potential and growth opportunities available within the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Final pay decisions are made through the interview process and in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.

What You'll Do

• Print, review, and analyze inbound purchase of a vehicle's consumer title and registration documents and verify accuracy and then upload/submit required paperwork with the appropriate government agencies to complete the purchase of the vehicle
• Research and resolve vehicles on hand without a title that have aged beyond fifteen (15) calendar days for deals as assigned primarily for administrative issues and occasionally more complex issues
• Print, review, and analyze outbound sale of a vehicle's contract paperwork for accuracy and then upload/submit required paperwork with the appropriate government agencies to complete the vehicle purchase
• Research and resolve sold vehicles without a title that have aged beyond thirty (30) calendar days for deals as assigned primarily for administrative issues and occasionally more complex issues
• Be comfortable working directly with customers when needed to resolve registration/title issues
  • Have effective strategies to diagnose and resolve issues in a timely mannerCommunicate effectively with customers through chat, phone, and CRM/email
  • Answer Customer questions regarding the Purchase paperwork
• Be comfortable working directly with government personnel when needed to resolve registration/title issues

  • Answer Customer questions regarding the Purchase paperwork
  • Follow-up with appropriate LAD personnel on any issues that need correction during purchase or sale
• Meet performance standards of accuracy, timeliness, cure rates, and efficiency as established by the Company
• Additional work and tasks as needed

What You'll Bring

• 1+ years of experience working in a vehicle dealership and/or processing vehicle title ®istration / DMV paperwork preferred
• High school diploma preferred
