Job summary

Continental, through BestDrive, is seeking a Tire Service Technician to service and repair commercial tires and wheels. The role requires mounting/dismounting, balancing, and inspecting tires, with responsibilities including on-site service, load handling, and documenting work orders.

Eligible external candidates may benefit from a sign-on bonus program and a rotating schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount/Install tires and tire/wheel assemblies on commercial vehicles and heavy trucks.
• Load and unload tires from trucks.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service per procedures.
• Identify repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Review work orders with supervisors and document work performed accurately.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Raise and secure wheels; perform wheel mounting/dismounting.
• Perform emergency road service on nights/weekends on a rotating basis.
• Maintain service vehicle and tools in good condition; comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
