Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will deliver more of what our members love, for less, and collaborate with other associates to meet member expectations.

What you'll do

• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation through stocking, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile items.
• Maintain the sales floor in accordance with company policies, including handling claims and returns, zoning, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise in the Tire and Battery Center following company procedures.
• Ensure safety by following all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials properly, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers, process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Assist members with automotive services, including tire installation, flat repairs, balancing, rotating, and battery testing and installation.
