Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools and resources, mentor new technicians, and communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and sales techniques using POS systems and in-person interactions.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools and handheld technology to plan sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions, while encouraging others to adopt new tools.
• Be an Owner: Manage equipment, supplies, and inventory; operate cash registers; process transactions; ensure safety and compliance; assist members with purchasing; and handle related documentation.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service and products, develop team skills, and foster a respectful, supportive team environment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics, and implement related action plans.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and team members, prioritizing tasks, and seeking continuous improvement.
