Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less, by collaborating with other associates to ensure the club meets the members' expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
• Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools and handheld technology to plan and drive sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions related to safety alerts, new products, and training.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; track and monitor returns and orders; operate cash registers; maintain inventory and safety standards; report issues; and assist members with purchasing decisions.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand by providing high-quality service, developing and inspiring others, respecting diversity, and fostering a supportive team environment.
• Act with Integrity: Uphold high standards of ethics and compliance, support Walmart's values, and be accountable for your actions.
