Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a Tire & Battery Center associate to maintain safety and merchandise standards, assist members, and drive sales. The role involves coordinating tire and battery services, scheduling installations, and leveraging Sam’s Garage knowledge to recommend best products.

The position emphasizes strong customer service, use of digital tools, and collaboration with club associates to enhance the service experience and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering member service and handling purchases in a retail setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly and resolve member questions effectively.
• Comfort with using point-of-sale systems and handling payments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility and sales floor safety and standards by following safety policies and procedures.
• Organize, stock, zone, and merchandise the Tire and Battery Center according to policies.
• Assist members with tire maintenance, installation scheduling, and service recommendations.
• Provide expert member service, explain warranties, and help with purchases and service decisions.
• Triages service workflow in TBC bays and prioritizes appointments for efficiency.
• Operate POS systems, process payments, returns, and exchanges per procedures.
• Communicate lead times, order changes, and cancellations to members; suggest alternatives.
• Promote TBC offerings and value, acting as a brand advocate and team mentor.
