Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a part-time Banquet Server to deliver high-quality hospitality in a fast-paced environment. The role pays an hourly rate of $6.00 - $8.00 and is tip eligible, with benefits for part-time roles including a 401(k) plan and matching.

Responsibilities include reading Banquet Event Orders, serving guests at high standards, maintaining stations and inventory, and ensuring safety and organization across event spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• 1 year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude.
• Ability to lift at least 8 entrees per tray.
• Punctual with consistent attendance.
• Able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
• Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events.
• Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests, ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met.
• Setup and maintain food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building.
• Maintain an inventory for both food and beverage stations.
• Maintain all event areas and front-of-house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner.
• Participate in both setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items.
• Work independently during slower times.
• Perform safe work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment.
• Have a high level of social contact with staff and patrons.
