Job summary

Oak View Group seeks a Banquet Server to deliver professional, fine-dining level food and beverage service at events. You will ensure guest satisfaction and collaborate with kitchen and event staff to execute meals, maintain cleanliness, and reset spaces for subsequent events.

The role emphasizes hospitality, accuracy, and a positive guest-focused demeanor. The position is part-time and pays an hourly rate of $10.00–$12.00, with tip eligibility, and includes benefits such as a 401(k) Savings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects often. Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Punctual with consistent attendance.
• Able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands banquet event orders.
• Provides fine-dining-level food and beverage service to guests for all events, consistent with standards of service.
• Initiates and maintains friendly and professional contact with guests, ensuring needs are anticipated and met.
• Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building.
• Maintain an inventory for both food and beverage stations.
• Maintain all event areas and front-of-house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner.
• Participate in setup and cleanup of service items.
• Work independently during slower times.
• Promote safe work by keeping a clean and safe environment.
• Interact with guests with a high level of social contact and professionalism.
• Ensure work is accurate and complete.
• Maintain a customer-focused, positive attitude.
