Job summary

Oak View Group seeks a Banquet Server to deliver premium food and beverage service during events. You will help set up banquet spaces, ensure timely service, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hospitality throughout the event.

You will work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, coordinating with kitchen and event staff while upholding safety and professionalism. This part-time, hourly role offers 401(k) savings benefits and opportunities to contribute to diverse events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months working in a fast-paced, high-volume food service environment preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or related food service experience.
• Must acquire Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Certification and other trainings.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Clear, respectful communication with staff and guests, in a businesslike manner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and select holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of menu and special items offered.
• Serves food items at proper temperature and promptly per kitchen and customer requests.
• Ensures neat presentation with no spillover.
• Pre-buses and resets tables during peak periods.
• Stocks beverage stations and maintains cleanliness of service areas.
• Reads and follows Banquet Event Orders.
• Delivers fine dining-level service to guests at events.
• Provides friendly, professional guest contact and anticipates needs.
• Sets up and maintains food/beverage stations across venue areas.
• Monitors inventory levels for stations and keeps spaces organized.
• Participates in setup and cleanup of service items.
• Works independently during slower times and maintains safety standards.
