Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Timekeeping SME to serve as the central contact for timekeeping systems and payroll processes. You will coordinate with HR, Payroll, and vendors, troubleshoot issues, and guide users on system use and policy compliance.

Responsibilities include audits, training material updates, access provisioning, and proxy setup to prevent service disruption. This role emphasizes accuracy and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in HR, general business, computer systems, or related field.
• 1 year or more of experience with timekeeping systems preferred.
• 2–3 years of hands-on HR practices and policies.
• Understanding of HR's role and impact on business and employees.
• Experience in training and influencing daily system users.
• Knowledge of timekeeping and payroll interdependencies (intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating the timekeeping system(s).
• Conduct regular audits to ensure policy and regulatory compliance in timekeeping.
• Maintain relationships with HR and Payroll stakeholders for timely updates.
• Update and distribute training materials for system updates and compliance.
• Ensure timely access and training for new users and role changes.
• Complete proxy set-ups to avoid disruption during absences.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate stakeholders or vendors.
• Monitor and analyze reports for data integrity and discrepancies.
