Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an HRIS Timekeeping SME to serve as the central expert for timekeeping systems, supporting employees and managers and acting as the bridge to HR and Payroll teams.

You will conduct regular audits, assist with system enhancements, manage access, and keep training materials current to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while supporting accurate payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in HR/Business/CS or related field.
• 1 year+ of experience with timekeeping systems (preferred).
• 2–3 years HR practices and policies experience.
• Understanding of HR’s role in business and employee impact (advanced).
• Experience in training and influencing system users (advanced).
• Knowledge of how timekeeping ties to Payroll (intermediate).
• Knowledge of compliance rules (US/PR/Canada) (intermediate).
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow (intermediate, preferred).
• MS Office Suite proficiency (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating timekeeping systems.
• Conduct audits to ensure policy compliance and regulatory alignment.
• Maintain strong collaboration with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update and distribute training materials for evolving systems.
• Ensure timely access provisioning and role-based access for new/relocated staff.
• Complete proxy setups to prevent service disruption during absences.
