Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a payroll/timekeeping professional to maintain accurate hours for project site employees. Responsibilities include recording hours, posting to payroll, and balancing payroll reports in a timely manner.

The role requires 1–2 years of timekeeping experience, computer literacy, and knowledge of benefit plans, IRS regulations and EEO policies. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; safety and project rules must be followed at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in timekeeping preferred.
• Follows instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions.
• Knowledge of IRS requirements/regulations and EEO policies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compute total time worked by employees.
• Enter payroll into computer systems.
• Deliver paychecks to employees.
• Interview employees to discuss hours worked and pay adjustments.
• Maintain basic records and procedures with attention to detail.
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
