Job summary

Health & Human Services Comm in Kerrville, TX seeks an Accountant I to serve as the Time Administrator for payroll, time labor, and leave. You will support employees and managers, process leave requests, approve overtime, and help maintain CAPPS timekeeping accuracy.

This role requires on-site work with occasional telework eligibility as determined by agency policy, and reports to the TA MH Hospitals department.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze payroll and timekeeping data.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Experience in a state government or public sector environment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Attends regular and predictable schedule.
• Provides procedural support on time and leave processes.
• Enters leave taken and hours worked for staff.
• Administers and tracks timekeeping policies and training.
• Develops training materials and conducts NEO orientations.
• Monitors on-call documentation and policy compliance.
