Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to act as a subject-matter expert for Time & Labor processes. You will support managers and cross-functional teams, lead or assist in enterprise initiatives, and help ensure readiness across ongoing implementations.

You will provide advanced operational support across Time & Labor, collaborate with Payroll, HR, and system teams, and help drive efficiency through process optimization and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of payroll, timekeeping, finance, auditing, and/or compliance experience.
• Advanced degree in a related field acceptable.
• Strong PC skills; proficiency in MS Word and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Experience with SAP, Power BI, or ServiceNow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an operational SME supporting managers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Lead or support operational projects, enterprise implementations, strategic initiatives, and readiness efforts.
• Provide advanced operational support across multiple Time & Labor Management areas.
• Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, procedures, reports, and guides.
• Support reporting and data analysis using Excel, SAP, Power BI, or ServiceNow.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and scalable support solutions.
• Design and deliver on-site training programs for HR, employees, and supervisors.
