Job summary

Timberlyne is seeking an Architectural Designer to convert concepts into precise design deliverables for timber-framed projects. You will create detailed 3D models using Revit, AutoCAD, and Cadwork, aligning with post-and-beam and mortise-and-tenon standards.

You will work with Sales, Digital Fabrication, Project Management, Engineering, Estimation, Procurement, and Production to deliver accurate material takeoffs, BOMs, and coordinated architectural updates for both pre- and post-sale phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-year drafting experience and degree (preferred, not required).
• Background in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related technical programs.
• Ability to read and prepare Construction Documents and interpret codes.

Responsibilities

• Convert ideas and sketches into accurate design deliverables for pre/post timber sale projects.
• Develop detailed 3D models with timber-framed structure specs.
• Prepare architectural documents for functional, residential, and commercial projects.
• Collaborate with Sales, Digital Fabrication, PM, Engineering, Estimation, Procurement, and Production.
