Job summary

Timberlyne in Texas seeks a Timber Frame Designer/Detailer to convert big customer ideas into fabrication-ready drawing sets using AutoCAD, Cadwork, Revit, SketchUp. You will develop clean 2D/3D models, generate takeoffs and cut information, and maintain drawing standards, file organization, naming conventions, and revision control from concept through release.

Qualifications

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Cadwork and related file formats.
Strong project management and cross-department coordination.
Excellent communication and meticulous organization.

Responsibilities

Convert big customer ideas into fabrication-ready drawing sets for timber frame production.
Develop clean 2D/3D models and generate takeoffs/cut information for sales and estimation.
Maintain drawing standards, file organization, naming conventions and revision control from concept through release.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, customers and internal teams to align scope, scheduling, resources and budgets.
Apply building codes and standards to timber frame details and ensure timely revisions.
