New Energy Works seeks a Project Designer & Manager to lead design and fabrication of timber frame buildings in a collaborative, hands-on role. You will create 3D models, develop detailed drawings, and guide projects from concept through fabrication and installation.

The role emphasizes DFMA, close shop-floor collaboration, and coordination with architects, engineers, and field teams to balance design, performance, and constructability.

Qualifications

• Engineering/architecture/construction management degree is helpful but not required.
• PMP certification is not required.
• Experience in construction, architectural detailing, timber framing, fabrication, or related fields.
• Experience with 3D modeling and CAD software.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities.

Responsabilités

• Translate design intent into buildable timber frame structures and enclosures.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for coordination and fabrication.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and field teams throughout projects.
• Support DFMA by designing for manufacturability and assembly.
• Review drawings for constructability and manage revisions.
