Job summary

Timberlyne Group seeks an Architectural Designer to translate sketches into precise design deliverables for pre- and post-timber sale projects. You will develop detailed 3D models with timber-framed structures and produce architectural documents for residential and commercial work.

You will collaborate across departments including Sales, Digital Fabrication, Project Management, and Engineering to ensure accurate material takeoffs and coordinated design development.

Qualifications

• Requires passion for design, engineering, fabrication and construction.
• Minimum 2-year drafting experience and degree preferred.
• Background in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related technical programs.
• Ability to read and prepare Construction Documents.
• Strong 3D modelling and drafting standards knowledge.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Convert ideas into accurate design deliverables for pre- and post-timber sale projects.
• Develop detailed 3D models with timber-framed structures.
• Prepare architectural documents for functional, residential, and commercial projects.
• Collaborate with Sales, Digital Fabrication, Project Management, Engineering, Estimation, Procurement and Production.
• Attend customer meetings and support supervision and coordination.
