Job summary

Timberlyne Group is seeking a Timber Frame Designer/Detailer to convert big customer ideas into fabrication-ready drawing sets using AutoCAD and Cadwork, with Revit, SketchUp, and related tools. You will develop clean 2D/3D models, generate takeoffs, and ensure tight drawing standards from concept through release.

You will partner with architects, engineers, contractors, customers, and internal teams to align scope, production scheduling, resources, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Cadwork; build Revit families, correlate attributes/parameters, and import/export file types.
• Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple design projects across departments.
• Excellent, proactive communication that drives win-win solutions; strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Convert big customer ideas into fabrication-ready CAD drawing sets for timber frame construction.
• Develop clean 2D/3D models in AutoCAD, Cadwork, Revit and related tools; generate takeoffs and cut information.
• Maintain drawing standards, file organization, naming conventions, and revision control from concept through release.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, customers, and internal teams to align scope, scheduling, resources, and budgets.
