Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. is seeking a Showroom Design Consultant to provide interior design guidance and product selection in our Denver showroom.

You will drive sales by delivering design expertise, coordinating samples, and following up with clients to close opportunities. The role requires strong presentation and project management skills, experience with Auto-CAD a plus, and willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in interior design consultation and product selection.
• Ability to communicate design concepts and close sales with clients.
• Proficiency with MS Office; basic CRM usage.
• Knowledge of showroom merchandising and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provides interior design advice and product expertise, facilitates tile and stone selection, and project development/support, ensuring the completion of selection/sales for all customers.
• Logs all client showroom visits, contact information, and detailed customer preference and selection notes in CMT; communicates with customers and team members to follow the lead and ensure tracking, follow-up and sales closure; reports sales closures monthly.
• Prospects for new business with an emphasis on Custom Builders and Residential Designers; makes outside sales calls and follows up on leads; logs visits and notes in CMT.
• Maintains showroom samples and merchandising; orders, receives, and maintains models and displays; ships customer samples; coordinates with suppliers to stay current on offerings and launches.
• Plans and hosts showroom tours and events for industry trade to drive customer sales; attends outside trade events to develop industry relationships.
• Evening and weekend hours are required.
