Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. in the United States seeks a Showroom Design Consultant to provide interior design guidance, product selection, and sales support in our showroom.

You will use showroom spaces to drive specifications, sales, and brand awareness while delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires an interior design degree or equivalent experience, strong design and communication skills, and weekend hours including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Experience in sales, customer engagement, and design trends.
• Ability to design, sketch, read blueprints and coordinate color schemes.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with customer management tools is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide interior design advice and facilitate tile/stone selections to close sales.
• Log client showroom visits and follow up to ensure sales closure.
• Prospect for new business with builders and residential designers.
• Maintain showroom samples and merchandising; coordinate with suppliers.
• Plan showroom tours and sponsor events to drive sales and brand awareness.
• Evening and weekend hours are required.
