We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team in Fond du Lac, WI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding, assembly, and repair tasks, ensuring all work meets engineering specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Select equipment and plan layout for welding and assembly of shop orders.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components according to drawings and print specifications.
• Secure and weld parts, paying attention to warpage and metal fatigue.
• Inspect finished parts and ensure compliance with specifications; straighten parts as needed using heat, press, clamps, or other methods.
• Assemble parts based on drawings and engineering instructions.
• Perform repairs by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and rewelding as per blueprints.
• Train operators on robotic welding processes and loading procedures.
• Support job estimates and prototype development.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency with various welding processes including TIG, MIG, Laser Welding, and Induction Brazing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layouts.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting robotic welders.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a technical school or 6 months to 1 year of related experience; experience with stainless steel preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision.
