Welder/Fabricator

Duties/Responsibilities/Skills:

· Utilize TIG for welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

· Finish parts (straighten, grind, polish, wipe down, etc.) per spec on print or lead’s instruction.

· Read and interpret customer drawings.

· Produce quality, error free parts with precision on customer specifications.

· Review traveler/prints to determine what needs to be fabricated/welded.

· Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper.

· Double check parts to spec before and after fabricating, then have another approved person check.

· Be able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment while completing jobs in allotted time frames.

· Have great communication skills and be detail oriented.

Experience:

· Must have welding/fabricating experience

· Food grade polishing experience is a plus.

· At least 5 year of blueprint reading (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

· All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.)

Education:

· Welding Degree/Certificate or equivalent preferred

Schedule:

· 8 hour shifts

· Monday-Friday

· Daytime
