Job Title: TIG / MIG Welder

Salary: Based on experience

Shift: 1st Shift M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm

Summary:

The MIG/TIG Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
  2. Install and repair various equipment and components
  3. Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
  4. Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
  5. Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
  6. Examine welds for bead size and other specifications
  7. Keep workspace around equipment clean and safe daily
Qualifications / Requirements:
  1. 2-3 years of experience welding stainless steel in a production environment or a technical degree in welding, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Strong work ethic
  3. Strong mathematical skills
  4. Good attention to detail
  5. Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
  6. Ability to use hand tools for grinding/deburring to achieve proper surface texture
  7. Proficient in using measurement tools to establish welding configurations
  8. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and schematics
  9. Ability to understand and follow written instructions and work documents
  10. Knowledge of basic Windows-based computer operations; familiarity with JobBOSS preferred
