Our capabilities at DJS are constantly expanding and currently include CNC machining, full metal fabrication (laser, brake, welding), painting, integrated assemblies, and more. Our facility includes the latest in manufacturing technology and equipment.

Job Description:

The Welder will perform daily set-up and fabricate/weld (MIG and/or TIG) weldments in a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, utilizing blueprints for set-up and inspection of parts to ensure customer specifications are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Set-up, lay-out, tack-up, and weld sheet metal to construct customer parts and components
2. Tack and/or weld metal parts together using MIG and/or TIG welding
3. Safely apply welds per specifications to produce completed products
4. Monitor fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating, warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of materials
5. Capable of porosity-free TIG welding and MIG welding

Qualification Requirements:

1. 3+ years of MIG and/or TIG welding experience
2. High School diploma or GED required
3. Ability to set up jobs from prints
4. Good verbal and written communication skills
5. Excellent attendance
6. Positive, "can do" attitude

Preferred Experience (Plus but Not Required):

1. A certificate from college or technical school
2. Robot welding experience
